Good Morning America aired another snippet of Rihanna’s revealing interview with Diane Sawyer this morning, and the details she disclosed about the night Chris Brown beat her were haunting.
“He had no soul in his eyes,” Rihanna said of Brown’s state of mind during the attack. “He was clearly blacked out. There was no person when I looked at him.”
Rihanna says the deeper the two “best friends” fell in love, the more dangerous they became for each other “equally.”
“It was a bit of an obsession.”
She says the night before the Grammys when the two were driving back to her house after attending Clive Davis‘ party turned “ugly” because she saw a text message from another woman on his phone and she “caught him in a lie.”
“I couldn’t take that he kept lying to me and he couldn’t take that I wouldn’t drop it. His back was up against the wall. The truth is right here in a text message. It escalated into him being violent towards me.”
As hard as it appeared for Rihanna to think back to the night, that she says “was not part of my plan,” she admits she still loves Chris. “I don’t hate him at all. I actually love and care about him, and I’m concerned about him doing well. I want him to do well, have a great career, have a great life, and grow up.”
The interview will air in full tonight on 20/20 at 10 pm EST.

did you see the purse rihanna had….it said”i/m such a fucking lady; wait your turn”
then she posted this on her twitter “I’m such a _____ Lady”. on wait your turn lyrics she must’ve changed it to “i’m such a such a lady”…..it may be on explicit version…!!!!!
Im a rihanna fan and all but, how come she stayed quiet for all these months and now when her album is coming out she decides to be a voice for domestic violence?!? it just seems like she decided to speak out just so she could get her album more famous. if she wants to be a voice for domestic violence, then maybe she should have spoken out a couple months ago, because now it seems like she is just doing this for her album. Also, she said that they were both dangerous for each other EQUALLY!!!!
Here is some humor in the whole Rihanna Chris Brown situation- The whole video is funny, but he get to chris and rihanna at the 5:30 mark!!! http://bit.ly/2g8bgH
Must see!!!

I personally feel that Rihanna is doing the right thing. She comments on facing the issue and dealing with it as closure. She wants to get pass this and move on from it. She realizes that her fans play a huge part and she wants them to be able to move on with her as well. So a lot of people feel she is doing the interview only for publicity and to promote her new album. Well to me they are wrong before she can move forward, she clearly does not want to leave left over baggage behind. If she decided not to deal with this, it would be almost like a snowball effect and potentially weigh her down. Rihanna has a fast paced lifestyle and successful career, she has no time for things to weigh her down. This is the right time for her to confront the questions about the asssault and what actually took place that night. So with all of this being said, I feel she is taking a stand and being strong for herself and others. Rih keep doing you being creative, pushing the envelope, and making Great music!
