Tomorrow night, Rihanna wil receive her “Woman of the Year” award at the Gala Awards Ceremony at Carnegie Hall.

She will be one of many women recognized by Glamour this year. Among other “women of the year” in 2009 are US First Lady Michelle Obama, journalist Maria Shriver, designer Stella McCartney, actress Amy Poehler, Google executive Marissa Mayer, tennis player Serena Williams, doctor Jane Aronson, foreign policy advisor Susan Rice, journalists Euna Lee and Laura Ling, and writer Maya Angelou.

    Im just wondering what did Rihanna actually do this year to get this award. Besides the whole Chris Brown fiasco, what did she do????
    Is she getting the award for overcoming the incident? Because otherwise she has done nothing.
