I think you need to take into consideration that this was taped on a random camera/ or phone.
Even at the end when she speaks her voice sounds “rough” I think it was just the qaulity of the recording. (And OF COURSE her voice sounds different on a mastered record as opposed to live).
I Have taped plenty of concerts that sounded PHENOMNAL in person…but when I upload the video….its total crap!

I dont like that sound Hard and after that interview the other night, I’m not too sure about her cause she did not seem sincere about some of the things she said…Chris was wrong for what he did but i have a strong feeling she started hitting him cause if she couls crack her brother head open with a bottle when they were younger who’s to say that she has’nt been beating on Chris for a long time and then he just finally snapped……
@Avery..yup,exactly…and also the fact that this was the first time that she sang Hard live… she probably will improving more and more each time that she performs it…
..and we also have to remember that she has been rehearsing a lot,so maybe she was with her voice a lil tired…

it IS an uptempo song, and i think she did great for that + it’S her first live performance for an uptempo-song!!
she could’ve been better, but i think she will improve a lot!!!
you all have to think about it, it’s an umtempo-song, not anyone can sing it good, even britney spears voice cracks, well she doesn’t even sing to her songs actually…

Rihanna is gorgeous at the end of the “Run this Town” video. I’m not 100% for her swearing, but it’s her life & I guess it’s because of Chris that she has thoes words in her songs now.

Um…. are ya’ll for real? Rihanna is not known as a fantastic vocalist. Not when she first came out and not now. She can give some really good performances but nobody expects her to be the old school Mariah or Leona Lewis or Beyonce. Just like nobody expects Britney to sing well. That’s not what they do. You either accept them for what they are & enjoy that or not be a fan because she isn’t going to turn into some amazing singer at this point in her career.
