I think the storyline of the video is weird. In the song itself, you can understand that she is vulnerable, scared, confused and sad. But at the video, it proves the opposite. Rihanna survives every difficulties and ways to kill her (The tiger which resembles the strength, THE CAR, I think everybody knows what special event it resembles to. The water and the gas, which is the media chaos that was around her, she felt like she couldn’t breathe and everybody is trying to bring her down) and her partner dies. I think the video is a message to us that Rihanna is stronger than ever, but it doesn’t match the song that much. Well, still a great video.

Love the video. Wouldn’t say it is her best though. I guess I agree with the ones who say ‘Umbrella’ is the best. And I say that because that’s the biggest record she’s had EVER, and it was at the time when her whole demeanor changed and caught everyone’s attention, like MOTHAFUCKAS LOOK AT ME!

‘Russian Roulette’ I wouldn’t say is epic, a little awkward and really dark. But I agree this should be a movie INSTEAD.
