I would like to say that I dont like the idea of re-reloading RATED R with club bangers. I dont want to break the idea and the greatness of Rated R.

when i heard hole in my head i didnt think it was up to par compared to the rest of Rated R and i can see why it wasnt included on the album but overall i thought it was an o.k. song it just didnt sound like it was gonna be a major hit like Umbrella or S.O.S.

CD, so im hoping she re-releases it as a double disc cd.

One side, the standard dark version, one side, the happier,

lighter version, part 2 of her movie. It makes absolutely

no sense not to re-release the album when she’s touring

for a year. The album isn’t gonna hold up for that long.

Decided to make a Reloaded in 2010,instead of putting

I agree and disagree. The U.S. is not behind as far as accepting new types of music, quite the contrary. The europeans are far behind us as far as the levels of music played on their airwaves. In many cases it’s like a time warp. The problem for Rihanna in the U.S….actually not a problem, she still does well, but lags behind some other artists, because of reasons unfortunately unique to America.
For one thing, there are still residual affects lingering about feb. 9th here in the U.S. wheras the rest of the world was never really impacted. Rihanna is still a mystery to many Americans, many only knew of her because of feb.9th. Rihanna has her haters which are primarily here in the U.S. for reasons we all know. And finally you have the sex factor. We are in the stone age as far as sexuality is concerned, unlike the europeans. I know for a fact that in many parts of the U.S. Rihanna is not getting any airplay because of Rated R. This country still has racist overtones as well as a powerful conservative religious populace who have banned “Rude Boy”, as an example, because they fear “Rude Boy” will take their children away and become sex maniacs. Many of us live on the west coast/east coast or large cities of the midwest, however, Rihanna, to many people, is a devil worshiper who should be burned at the stake.
Europeans are more open, they embrace Rihanna as a sexy young woman with at times suggestive lyrics, but as long as America allows the religious conservatives, who control the airwaves in many parts of this country, to remain powerful, many artists like Rihanna will suffer because of the no exposure.
I can attest to this on a personal level. I did a movie that was considered “too racy” in many markets. Wasn’t shown, even though there were no killings or violence….well, i’ll leave it at that, i’m getting pissed.

Hard was doing good in the english charts in europe (UK and Ireland). But it did not do GREAT as its doing Rude boy.

I really dont know how well it would have done HARD in europe. Coz I only know about Spain really. And here there has only been Russian roulette. And is still top 10 song. So I really have no idea.
