Apparently you know nothing about charity events. In this particular event it was at max participation people wise, the $170,000 raised was huge given the fact that the logistics had to limit the attendence. The $170,000 raised does not include the money raised on a personal basis, just the money from the auction and poker tables.
I will try and organize a charity event just for you…..i’ll label it “Personality Disorders, the unknown disease for people lacking a personality and need to come into forums on the internet just for attention despite having no socially redeeming values pertaining to the subject matter”. It will be a tough sell, i may get up to 5 people and raise, if we’re lucky, 7 bucks. I’ll let you know where i’ll book the event, i’m trying for a roped off section in Denny’s.

Macy’s here on the West Coast (not sure about back east) is playing the crap out of “Te Amo”. Also, was at a Fashion Show 2 days ago and they were playing “Disturbia”. At one of the Oscar after parties (was able to meet my idol Jeff Bridges), “Rude Boy” and “Breaking Dishes” was playing prominently in the background.

Good morning RD. I just spoke with someone who works at Def Jam, and they gave me some interesting information.

1. “Photographs” was chosen as the next UK single 2 weeks ago, (not sure about the US). Rihanna and Will.I.am have already discussed details on a video to be shot at the end of spring or beginning of summer.

2. Rihanna is not working on a new album. Def Jam is asking songwriters to submit songs for a end-of-the-year project. Expect this to be similar to Rated R’s version of The Fame Monster.

3. In the last quarter of 2010 Rihanna will take a break from touring to promote the project.

4. After “Photographs”, they are choosing “Stupid in Love”, “Fire Bomb”, or “Rockstar 101″. One of these will probably be the last single until the EP is released.

5. Producers asked to submit songs: Justin Timberlake, Stargate, Darkchild, The Dream, Tricky Stewart and possibly James Faunteleroy.

6. Expect the 1st single off the new version of Rated R in the last quarter of 2010

I hope they chose “Stupid in Love” as a Single

Hopefully Mandler will shoot the video… Probably they will release Photographs worldwide then and one of those 3 US?

Songs I would never have thought in a millions yrs could do well have shot straight to #1. Plus, RS and TA are summer singles.
