Rihanna chose a colorful dress for her performance on Ellen for an episode that will air Monday. She talked about her tattoos, her love life and the future. Here are the highlights:

On her love life:

Ellen: I read that you said you’re going to fall in love by 31 years old.  That is your goal that you have to be in love by 31. Is that real?   Did you say that.
Rihanna: No, but I hope I am. 31 is a decade away. I better be in love by then.
Ellen: Are you dating anyone now?
Rihanna: No, I’m single.
Ellen: Really, what about that guy we keep seeing you with…
Rihanna: (Laughs)

On tattoos:

Ellen: You do know how many tattoos you have, right?
Rihanna: Approximately 13.
Ellen: And what is the new one that you have?
Rihanna: The newest one is across on my chest.
Ellen: What does it say?
Rihanna:  It reads, “Never a failure, always a lesson.”  Basically saying, it’s OK to make a mistakes just don’t make them twice.
Ellen:  That is good to remember. And, she did…backwards so that you could read it.
Rihanna: … In the mirror to myself.
Ellen: I have one that says “Right side up” always reminding me.

• According to Ellen’s official website, Rihanna is supposed to perform Hard and Don’t Stop The Music on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, that will air on Monday. But according to fans who were there while Rihanna was taping the performances yesterday, she performed three songs. Make sure to watch the TV show on Monday!

• Rated R is back to the World Charts top 10 at #10 (up from #11) with 58,000 sold. Total: 1,305,000. Hope For Haiti is #1 with 192.000. Russian Roullette is #12 (down from 9), Hard is #15 (=), Stranded #17 (NEW). Thanks, Flourorescent!

Rihanna’s performance at this year’s Rock In Rio has been confirmed. RiRi will perform on June 5 in Madrid, Spain.

Besides Rihanna, Shakira and Bon Jovi are confirmed to peform.
