Rihanna dons a bullet bra and some other sexy military couture on the set of her new “Hard†music video. Are those Mickey Mouse ears?! As exclusively reported by JustJared, Melina Matsoukas will be directing the vid. Rihanna has said, “We got tanks, we got troops, helicopters, explosions, tight gear, lots of cute outfits, lots of bullets. Crazy!â€
The 21-year-old wore a variety of sexy costumes throughout the two-day video shoot as was seen being styled by Rob Zangardi. Rapper Young Jeezy also joined Rihanna for some scenes.
Rihanna performed LIVE at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City tonight (December 3rd 2009) to launch a new Myspace Music’s “The Release” series. Below is a collage of the very first pictures to surface taken from the concert (Thanks Chad!) Also check out the video clips of Rihanna performing “Hard”, “Don’t Stop the Music” & “Umbrella”.
Many more photos and videos being posted tomorrow. Stay tuned…
I’ve added few more pictures from the inside party (so how many parties were there yesterday) where Rihanna was seen wearing Phillipe Blond’s dress. That cake is insane!

Billboard prediction:
#1 Susan Boyle – I Dreamed a Dream – 700k
#2 Adam Lambert – For Your Entertainment – 225k
#3 Lady GaGa – The Fame Monster – 200k
#4 Rihanna – Rated R – less than 200k
According to Rihanna, the first single from “Rated R” is “Russian Roulette”, “Wait Your Turn” is the second and “Hard” the third. Many of us thought “Wait Your Turn” was just a promotional single, but it’s not.
She’s hoping that the fans will help her to choose the fourth single. But it’s probably gonna be “Stupid In Love” or “Photographs”.
She said this while she was in France a couple weeks ago. Watch the full interview below:
In other news, Rihanna also performed “Hard” this morning on Good Morning America – this song’s performance didn’t air on TV. Click here to watch a fan video.
Almost 3 hours late, Rihanna finally arrived at her album signing at Best Buy Union Square in New York City. Here’s the first picture taken by our friend Tamara:

The wait is really ova. Rihanna’s fourth album in five years Rated R arrives today. What kind of rating did it receive from critics? Find out below.
Entertainment Weekly: A genuine moment of vulnerability plays stunningly on the meticulously layered “Cold Case Love,†penned by Justin Timberlake. Still, Rated R rarely delivers Top 40 fodder. Instead, it’s a raw, often unsettling portrait of an artist who is, she insists, no longer a Girl at all. B
USA Today: “Hard†is a punch in the mouth to her doubters, while “Stupid in Love†declares “the dunce cap is off.†“Wait Your Turn†brashly puts rivals in check, and “Rude Boy†maintains her dance-floor allure. But probably the most telling statement of who Rihanna is these days is the Slash-propelled “Rockstar 101,†which revels in her status as a ubiquitous celebrity. 3 out of 4
The New York Times: In the multimedia whirlwind of a 21st-century pop career, Rihanna simply couldn’t have made an album of lovey-dovey ballads or simple dance songs. Rated R does what divas do: leverage personal troubles into music. And with it, Rihanna never lets her sorrows overwhelm her musical craftsmanship or the determination behind it.
“Rated R” is now available worldwide! Make sure to buy as many copies as you can! If you prefer, you can buy it on iTunes or Amazon.

It features the amazing Justin Timberlake… too bad they didn’t put it on the album since I reaaallly like it! I already can’t wait for any future “Rated R” re-released that will have this song included! The song should be available to buy via Nokia Music Store together with 2nd bonus song – ‘Russian Roulette’ (Donni Hotwheel Remix). And what do you think about this song? YAY or NAY?
